Business Management Retainer

02 /

Manage

You set the direction. We make sure it lands.

Not more hands. Defined responsibility, held by someone accountable for how it performs.

For founders who know where the business is going but cannot get it to move without personally pushing it forward. We take responsibility for defined areas of the business and see that every priority is executed, not simply discussed.

MANAGE AND EXECUTE / MONTHLY, STARTING AT $3,500

A calm workspace with a laptop and iced coffee, representing ongoing support through the Business Management Retainer

Where it begins

The direction is clear. Getting it to move is not.

You know what needs to happen, but it only happens when you push it.

Your team waits on you before taking the next step.

Deadlines slip quietly, and you are the last to know.

Marketing depends on whether you had time that week.

New tools and initiatives get started but never fully implemented.

Most support is built around tasks.
This is built around responsibility.

What we manage

Scoped to the business, not to a template.

Every retainer is built around what your business actually needs. You are not hiring someone to do whatever comes up. You are handing specific areas of the business to someone accountable for how they perform.

How we work together

Informed, without being involved.

The industry would call this online business manager (OBM) support. In practice, it is a standing operational partner who is accountable for outcomes, not a task list. Most OBM support waits for instructions and carries them out. We bring judgment to every area we manage, noticing what is not working, recommending what should change, and following it through to the result.

Before we begin, we agree in writing on the areas Big Bow will manage against the desired outcomes. Clarity on both sides is what allows the retainer to work seamlessly long-term.

THE WORKING RHYTHM

01

A weekly priorities meeting, with a focused check-in on what moved, what is next, and what we need from you.

02

A monthly performance review of what changed in the business, measured in time, money, capacity, and revenue.

03

A quarterly check-in to assess responsibilities, progress, and how closely the work aligns with your goals.

04

A dedicated channel, so communication stays in one place during business hours, with clear response times.

05

Visibility without management. You always know what is happening, without having to manage it yourself.

Investment

Monthly, starting at $3,500.

Inquire to begin

The investment reflects the number of areas we manage, the size and complexity of the team, the number of active initiatives, and the level of implementation involved. It is scoped to your business and confirmed in your tailored proposal after your clarity call.

How it works

Every retainer starts with understanding.

01

The Clarity Call

A conversation about where the business is going and what you are ready to stop holding.

02

The Proposal

Your tailored proposal includes the written scope, where we agree on the areas Big Bow will manage against the desired outcomes. As your strategy evolves, the scope can evolve with it. New clients may begin with a three-month retainer, the time it takes for operational change to show its full effect, or choose a six-month or twelve-month term for savings.

03

The Scoping Session

We never take on something we have not first understood. Once the proposal is accepted, the contract is signed, and the initial payment is complete, we begin with a dedicated scoping session of 60 to 90 minutes. If you have completed the Business Performance Intensive within the past 30 days, a brief conversation to align on first priorities and timeline is all we need.

04

Onboarding

Your client portal, a shared Google Drive, access to the accounts we will need, and a dedicated communication channel are all set in place, so the work begins cleanly from the first day.

05

Active Management

With everything in place, we actively manage how the work moves, how the business runs, and how it stays visible. You set the direction, and we make sure every priority lands.

06

Continue The Retainer

Weekly priorities, monthly performance reviews, and a business that keeps moving without you having to push it. Existing clients renew for six or twelve months.

OR

Upgrade to The Partnership

The retainer carries out the priorities you set. The Fractional COO Partnership helps set them. It is our highest level of support, bringing leadership to the direction of the business and a deeper responsibility for its results, so you are no longer the one holding everything together. That is where real capacity is created.
